Refunds & Cancellation
The Second Shift service is month-to-month. No long-term contract. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing, and we confirm every cancellation in writing. No cancellation fees, no retention calls, no exit-interview gauntlet.
Cancelling the service
Cancel from the client portal, or by email or message to us, at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month; posting continues (or stays paused, if you paused it) until then, unless you tell us to stop sooner. Any prepaid amounts beyond the current month are refunded in full on cancellation, to the original payment method. Work already produced for you is yours to keep — see the no-hostage rule below.
What cancellation never costs you
Ending the service never costs you your assets. Under the Client Services Agreement's no-hostage vault, you receive an export of everything made for you, and your accounts, audience, and content remain entirely yours. We never charge an "export," "release," or "offboarding" fee.
Backstage licenses
Backstage is not yet on open sale. Trial licenses carry no fee and nothing to refund. When paid licensing opens, its refund terms will be published here and on the license record before the first sale — no terms are stated or implied before then.
